Message from the President

In recent years the University of Chicago College Republicans has experienced profound transformation. Not only have we accomplished significant growth but we have also established a reputation for professionalism and commitment that extends far beyond our own campus. Our work however, is far from done. By remaining firm in our beliefs, as well as our commitment to voicing our views to our friends, classmates, and peers, we can make great strides toward ensuring that conservative principles and values will always be heard on our campus. As important as this is, however, we mustn’t stop there. We must get out into our communities and participate in grassroots efforts, learn about the issues first hand, and meet the republican candidates whose voices will shape the future of the state of Illinois and the nation. We must not only envision a better America, but also strive for concrete change. Ronald Reagan once said, “Our proudest moments are yet to be. Our most glorious achievements are just ahead.” I urge you to join the College Republicans as we strive to be a part of this proud moment.
